Your position is that of radical structuralism and/or radical humanism, in a social paradigm context of explaining reality. This is prolific in original Marxist/Engels or 'gross marxism', and also in social marxist variations such as critical theory (radical humanism) where some sort of eschatology is assumed on human conflict (war). Your position would be more stimulating if you pursued a synthesis of these paradigms with that of the dominant functionalist paradigm- which largely still operates across most societies and underpins their understanding of war and conflict. Advocating a single paradigm view (whether arguing the enlightenment through a Marxist lens, or that of a Westphalian, capitalistic view) and rejecting alternatives is paradigm incommensurability- and is the basis of my third book in production now.
